There is easy public access
to Foster's Pond from two reservations managed by the Andover Village
Improvement Society (AVIS).
Goldsmith
Woodlands,
the older and larger of the two, affords splendid hikes, with trails
that lead to the water's edge. The
Wilkinson
Reservation, newer and less travelled, affords grand views from the
opposite end of the Pond - and an excellent vantage point from which to
look for osprey diving into the still waters on a summer afternoon.
